| "Dialogues on Photographic Projects"
Workshop in which participants explore the development of photographic projects and discuss existing projects by established artists.
Given by

During the undertaking of photographic projects, whether short or long term, the artist may go through various stages, both productive (involving the results of his photographs) and emotional. This parallel experience affords the photographer a unique form of learning.
This workshop will explore these stages and discuss the projects students are undertaking or wish to carry out. Specific exercises will be designed to meet the needs of each individual and his or her project.
At the same time, as a parallel study, participants will discuss long-term projects currently operating within contemporary art in order to create links between students' interests and the practices of other artists.
General Objective
By the end of the course, students will have tools for clearly outlining their ideas, on the basis of which they will be able to choose and construct specific photographic projects, whether to begin or continue them.
Specific objectives
- Find out about and discuss the ideas each student has about his or her projects and offer perspectives, possibilities and support with exercises and texts as appropriate.
- Explore the necessary tools while projects are being undertaken, particularly reading, writing, editing and discussion.
Work dynamic
- The workshop will be divided into two parts.
- During the first phase, participants will review and discuss photographic projects by established artists, sometimes accompanied by auxiliary texts.
- In the second, they will review and discuss new photographs in the projects being undertaken on a weekly basis. In each case, assignments and readings will be given to enrich them.
